BIO

Jing Wong is an independent singer-songwriter, composer, and music producer based in Vancouver, BC. She holds a Certificate in Digital Music Production from Langara College and works primarily in Logic Pro and Pro Tools, with experience in recording, mixing, mastering, and sound design. She also holds an ABRSM Grade 8 Practical Violin qualification.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jing began her musical journey singing and performing with the Yip’s Children’s Choir. After moving to Vancouver, she became immersed in the collegiate a cappella scene as a member of the University of British Columbia’s premier ensemble, Eh? Cappella, competing at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA). These experiences sparked her fascination with harmony and the ways music can tell stories. Vocal layering and intricate harmonies remain an important part of her approach to songwriting and production.

Jing’s instrumental work explores the intersection of nature and technology, blending organic instrumentation with synthetic textures to create immersive soundscapes. Across her songwriting, instrumental compositions, and ambient work, she is drawn to music that creates a sense of atmosphere, evokes emotion, and invites reflection.
